Core Disclosures

Religious Non‑Degree Status. US‑NYSCRT provides religious, non‑credit, non‑degree chaplaincy training. ACPE Disclosure. US‑NYSCRT is not an ACPE‑accredited center and does not award ACPE units. ACPE units are earned only at ACPE‑accredited centers through our referral/placement agreements.
Pathway. This program serves as pre‑CPE preparation and foundational ministry training.

Clarifications

  • No degree / No licensure. Our certificates are religious, non‑degree recognitions of training. They are not academic degrees, state licenses, or guarantees of employment.
  • Board certification. Major U.S. boards commonly require a graduate theological degree, 4 units of CPE, faith‑group endorsement, and experience. See Pathway to Board Certification for planning guidance.
  • Texts & permissions. Where specified, we use the First Response Chaplain Training Manual (English and Spanish) by the Spiritual Care Association (SCA) with authorization. Reproduction of the manual in whole or in part is not permitted. Use of SCA’s name/manual does not imply academic accreditation by SCA.

Policies (short form)

  • Admissions. 18+, ID, HS diploma/equivalent; see each program page for prerequisites.
  • Refunds & Complaints. See Catalog & Policies for the full Refund Policy and Student Complaint/Grievance Process.
  • Renewal. One annual renewal ($125) keeps all active designations current (Basic and Advanced) unless noted otherwise.
  • Marketing accuracy. We do not present our training as ACPE or as guaranteeing employment, licensure, or board certification.
  • Photography/recording. Training sessions may include role‑plays. Participants should request opt‑out if needed.

Privacy & Records

We collect enrollment information (e.g., ID headshot, contact details) to issue credentials and communicate about training. Records are maintained securely for at least 5 years and released only with written consent or when required by law.

Accessibility & Non‑Discrimination

US-NYSCRT welcomes reasonable accommodation requests. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion/creed, national origin, age, disability, sex, or any other status protected by law, consistent with our interfaith, non-denominational mission.
