US-NYSCRT – Steps

Dear Chaplain Candidate,

Welcome to the US-NYSCRT Online Basic Chaplaincy Training Program!

Your student account has been created. Please follow the steps below to begin your training.

Step 1 – Log In

Go to:

Home
  1. Click MY ACCOUNT.
  2. Enter the following login information:

Username: Given via email
Password: Given via email

Important: Passwords are case-sensitive.

  1. Check the “I’m not a robot” box.
  2. Click Log In.

Step 2 – Access the Training Manual

Once you are logged in:

  1. Go to the top menu.
  2. Hover your mouse over MEMBERS.
  3. Click TRAINING MANUAL (English).

Step 3 – Complete the Training

  • Scroll down and begin Module 1.
  • The course contains 9 Modules.
  • Complete the modules in order.

At the end of each module, you will find a 10-question quiz.

Please Note:
The quizzes do not count toward your final grade. They are designed to help you review the material and prepare for the Final Exam.

Step 4 – Download the Exercise File

At the bottom of each video or audio lesson, you will see an Exercise File.

This file contains the lesson in PDF format, allowing you to:

  • Follow along while watching the video.
  • Read the lesson at your own pace.
  • Print the material if you wish.

Step 5 – Final Exam

After completing all 9 Modules, you will take the Final Exam.

  • Passing Score: 70% or higher (15 tries).

Once you successfully pass the Final Exam, we will automatically receive your passing grade.

Step 6 – Your Graduation Package

After we receive your passing grade, we will prepare and mail your official graduation package, which includes:

  • Certificate of Completion
  • Official US-NYSCRT ID Card
  • Polo Shirt
  • Chaplain Badge
  • Leather Badge Holder

Please allow approximately 4 to 6 weeks for your package to arrive.

The Chaplain Badge is a custom-made item, so production typically takes 4 to 6 weeks, although it often arrives sooner.
